In roughly seven minutes, the Garnet registered four goals, cutting the Bullets advantage down to one (5-4) with under 16 minutes remaining in the first half.

From there, the Bullets out-scored the Garnet 7-2 with McKeever scoring three and Barr tallying two in the spurt to close the half with the 12-6 advantage.

Orzechowski scored the opening tally at 29:01 and Stokes followed up three minutes later with a goal of her own off a feed from Orzechowski. Orzechowski would post her final goal of the day off a dish from Barr with 18:15 remaining.
