How It Happened…
  • First Quarter
    • F&M started the frame with a 7-2 run, but a three-pointer by Gehrin and a jumper by Hahner tied the game at 7-all. Gettysburg held the edge until back-to-back buckets by F&M's Kristin Hamill tied the game again at 11-11. The Orange and Blue never trailed again and closed the frame with a 6-2 stretch.
  • Second Quarter
    • The momentum continued in Gettysburg's favor, out-scoring the Diplomats a whopping 18-4, which was F&M's lowest-scoring quarter total. The advantage grew to double-digits off a jumper by Cesareo, and it ballooned to 18 at the half. The Bullets shot 50 percent (6-of-12) from the field and 75 percent (6-of-8) from the free throw line.
  • Third Quarter
    • The Diplomats jumped into the second half by netting six-straight points and out-scoring the Bullets 16-12 in the frame, but the hosts never came closer than 12 points. Cesareo, sophomore Mackenzie Tinner (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock High School North), Gehrin, and Hahner combined to score Gettysburg's 12 points.
  • Fourth Quarter
    • Gettysburg could not be stopped in the fourth quarter shooting 8-of-15 (53.3 percent). Sophomore Carly Rice (Pennington, N.J./The Pennington School), who leads the CC in three-point percentage, sank a trey with 1:51 on the clock to extend the Bullets lead to 20-points, which was the largest of the night.
