COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Three players tallied double-figures, and Gettysburg College (19-1, 15-0 CC) extended its winning streak to 19 in a row as the No. 16 Bullets defeated Centennial Conference opponent Ursinus College (7-14, 6-10) 68-59 in women's basketball action on Thursday night inside Helfferich Hall.

How It Happened…
- First Quarter
- The Bullets trailed by four in the first minute of the game, but a lay-up by Brown and a three-pointer by Cesareo pushed the Bullets ahead by one. Gettysburg led by a quarter-high eight points off Brown's second made free throw with 3:40 on the clock. A lay-up by Gehrin with 1:49 remaining made it a seven-point margin for the Orange and Blue, but Aliyah Stevens, who is ranked third in the conference in points per game, poured out six of the final eight points to give the hosts a one-point lead heading into the second.
- Second Quarter
- The Bullets offense flourished in the second quarter as they out-scored the Bears 16-5, holding the hosts to its lowest scoring output, and shot a fantastic quarter-best 63.6 percent (7-of-11) from the floor. Despite collecting four personal fouls in the quarter, sophomore Mackenzie Tinner (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock High School North) paced the Orange and Blue with five points and three rebounds in seven minutes of action. Konstanzer scored four of the five points for the Bears.
- Third Quarter
- The Bears sliced the advantage down to five with 8:02 on the clock as they opened the quarter with a 7-2 run. The lead stayed in single-figures until a lay-up by Gehrin with 2:56 showing pushed the Bullets to an 11-point margin. Within the next 30 seconds, Yantsos connected on a lay-up and hit another one with 39 seconds left to lift Gettysburg ahead 54-41. Gettysburg's offense displayed excellent ball movement as the team poured out 20 points to Ursinus' 17.
- Fourth Quarter
- Yantsos continued with the hot-hands as she drained a trey to start the quarter, which fueled a 7-1 stretch to make it the largest lead of the night at 19-points. Gettysburg maintained the double-figure lead, but the Bears were not backing down back as Marisa Morano started the hopeful comeback by tallying a trey with 1:21 to cut the advantage down to 10. Three free throws by Alyssa Martin made it an eight-point game, but a pair of made shots from the charity stripe by Gehrin pushed it back to 10 with 20 seconds to go.

- The Bullets continue to rise in the national polls, moving into the No. 16 spot in the Women's Basketball Coaches Associations (WBCA) Top 25 Poll and No. 19 in the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll.
- With the win at Ursinus, Gettysburg increases the longest winning streak in program and conference history to 19 consecutive. The Bullets claimed the streak at 18 in their win against Swarthmore College inside Bream Gym last Saturday.
- Based on CC records, Gettysburg holds the top spot in the league standings as Haverford College (17-3, 14-1 CC) is second, Johns Hopkins University (12-8, 9-6 CC) is third, and Swarthmore College (12-9, 9-7 CC) and Dickinson College (11-10, 9-7 CC) are both tied at fourth.
- Gettysburg, who leads the conference in field goal percentage, hit 27-of-59 (45.8 percent) from the field, 10-of-11 (90.9 percent) from the free throw line and made four from three-point land.
- Ursinus hit 22-of-64 (34.4 percent) from the floor, 11-of-15 (73.3 percent) from the charity stripe, and tallied four three-pointers.
- Gehrin needs 24 more points to join the program's top-10 career scoring list.
Where the Series Stands Now
The Bullets hold the slight 30-28 all-time series advantage between the Bears. Gettysburg has won ten consecutive meetings against Ursinus with four of the last five coming by 12 or more points.
