USTFCCCA Regional Ranking
NEW ORLEANS – The Gettysburg College men's cross country team stays ranked in the latest NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region rankings, as released on Tuesday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
After taking a week off from competition, the Bullets remain fourth in the regional poll. In the first two races of the season, Gettysburg placed fifth at the Shippensburg University Galen Piper Invitational and defeated Franklin & Marshall College 24-32 and falling to Dickinson College 20-35 at the Little Three Meet. Dylan McKeever (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) was the top finisher for Gettysburg in both races.
Gettysburg joins seven other Centennial Conference teams in the regional rankings. Johns Hopkins University holds the top spot in the Mid-Atlantic region, with Dickinson at No. 3, and Franklin & Marshall at No. 5. Haverford College claimed the top spot in the Metro Region followed, by Swarthmore College (No. 5), Ursinus College (No. 8), and Muhlenberg College (No. 10).
Gettysburg returns to Carlisle on Sept. 25 when it competes in the Long Short Invite, hosted by Dickinson, at 10:30 a.m.
