THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg won four straight matches to open up an 18-7 lead and ultimately defeat York (Pa.) 30-10 after a pair of six-pointers at the end of the night.

• Phil Nave (Venetia, Pa./Peters Twp.) led the Bullets with a match-sealing pin late in the first period at 197.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Logan Barkey staked York to an early 4-0 lead in the match with a 9-0 major decision at 125. Brendan Callahan (Woolrich Twp., N.J./Kingsway Regional) responded, however, with a second-period technical fall for Gettysburg. He took an 11-1 lead into the second period before a reversal and four-point near fall gave him the 17-1 win with 31 ticks remaining in the frame and a 5-4 Bullets lead. The back-and-forth continued with a back-and-forth bout at 149, where Jack Doran prevailed 9-4 to put the Spartans back in front by two.
• Ethan Composto (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) fought off multiple third-period attempts at a potential match-tying takedown to claim a 10-6 win at 149 and put the hosts back in front. Gavin Pascoe (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) made it back-to-back Bullet victories, using a takedown midway through the third period to seal a 12-8 win at 157 and push the lead to 11-7. A Justin Richey (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) 11-1 win at 165 pushed the lead to 15-7. Connor Hoefling (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) added a 10-7 win at 174.
• Luca Romasco used a takedown with 40 seconds left in the third period for an 8-7 win at 184, stopping the run. Phil Nave sealed Gettysburg's first dual win over York since 1992 with a 2-minute, 22-second fall at 197. Simon Taylor (Alexandria, Va./Woodbury Forest School) added a forfeit win at heavyweight for the final score.
