THE SKINNY STORY
Ursinus scored three second-quarter touchdowns to take a 20-0 lead into the break and defeat Gettysburg, 34-0.
THE LEADERS

Peter Schelling (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) led the Bullets with 82 all-purpose yards.

Michael Zrelak (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) rushed 17 times for 73 yards.

Ryan Weems (Plant City, Fla./Strawberry Crest) paced the defense with eight tackles and a forced fumble.
FOR THE FOES
• Tony Holden led the Bears with 186 yards rushing – part of a 436-yard day on the ground – and two touchdowns.
• Jason Bernard added 122 yards and a score while Jalen Bradford had 85 rushing on six carries in addition to his 139 yards passing.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The first quarter featured five punts before Ursinus took over at its own eight-yard line with 2:27 to play in the period. The Bears marched the ball methodically down the field 92 yards on 14 plays with Jalen Bradford capping the drive with an 11-yard touchdown toss to Justin Collier for a 7-0 lead with 11:29 to play in the second quarter. Gettysburg forced a turnover on Ursinus' next possession but netted just 12 yards on the ensuing drive. Ursinus needed just two plays to double the lead with Tony Holden breaking off a 54-yard run up the middle for a touchdown with 4:09 showing. Bradford found Collier for a five-yard score with five seconds to play in the half but the Bears missed the PAT to keep it 20-0 at the break.
• After a 14-play Gettysburg drive in the third quarter yielded just 57 yards, Ursinus got a turnover on downs and then took the next drive 81 yards on 10 plays with Holden scoring from a yard out for a 27-0 lead with 4:13 to play in the period.
• Another turnover on downs for the Bullets, turnover for the Bears and Gettysburg three-and-out set up Ursinus at its own 32 early in the fourth quarter. Seven plays later, Bernard ran it in 12 yards for the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Urisnus outgained Gettysburg 579-220 on the day, including 436-115 on the ground.
