Gettysburg, ranked 23rd in the latest D3hoops.com poll, scored the game's first nine points en route to an 84-42 win over Bryn Mawr.

Jameson Mott (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen) led the Bullets, establishing a career high with 13 points.
FOR THE FOES
• Jessica Smith led the Owls with 19 points and six rebounds.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Three different Gettysburg players helped stake the visitors to a 9-0 lead just 2:23 into the game. A Jessica Smith three-point play cut the deficit to 9-3 on the next possession before the Bullets ran off another nine in a row to take an 18-3 lead with 3:19 showing. Five different players scored during that stretch. The lead grew as large as 24-5 on a
Caitlyn Priore (Holland, Pa./Germantown Academy) hook shot before Michelle Jiang hit a triple in the waning seconds of the quarter to make it 24-8 after 10 minutes.

Jameson Mott 3-pointer on the first possession of the second quarter pushed the lead to 19 before
Tatum Murray (Newton, Mass./Newton South) canned a triple of her own to stretch the advantage over 20 or the first time with 7:50 on the clock. Leading 33-16, the Bullets scored six straight for a 39-16 lead en route to a 39-17 halftime lead.
• Gettysburg tallied the first 19 points of the third quarter to swell the lead to 58-17 with 4:44 to play. The advantage remained between 38 and 43 points through the rest of the period.
• Taking a 68-25 lead to the final quarter, the Bullets pushed the lead as large as 51 on a Murray trey with 3:29 to play. The Owls, however, scored the 11 of the last 13 points in the game for the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• After a coin flip was required to determine the Centennial Conference top seed, Gettysburg enters next week's tournament as the No. 2 seed. Johns Hopkins is the top seed and has hosting rights throughout the tournament. The Bullets and Blue Jays will both host a semifinal on Friday night before the championship game on Sunday is at the highest remaining seed.
• Gettysburg shot 50 percent for the game, including 12 of 15 in the third quarter.

Mackenzie Szlosek (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) added 10 points as one of seven Bullets with eight or more points.

Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) added six points, six rebounds and three assists.
