OPENING DRAW: Today's non-conference game marks the 14th all-time meeting between No. 4 Gettysburg (6-0) and No. 1 Middlebury (5-0) in a series that dates back to 2004. The Panthers lead the all-time series 10-3 with wins in the last two matchups, including in the 2023 national championship game. The last Bullet victory was 11-9 in the 2018 national championship game. This is the first regular-season meeting since 2013.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Middlebury left little doubt early that the Panthers would come out on top in the 2023 national championship game and make it back-to-back titles, downing Gettysburg 17-9 in Salem. Julia Daly led the Bullets with four goals while Jordan Basso added two goals and two assists. Hope Shue finished with seven goals and one assist to earn the most outstanding player award and lead the Panthers. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg, ranked fourth, scored six straight goals after No. 11 York (Pa.) pulled to within 10-9 to seal a 16-10 home win on Saturday. Julia Daly led the Bullets with five gals on five shots while adding two assists for seven points. Michaela Kelly added seven points of her own with three goals and four assists. NO. 4 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg moved up to fourth in this week's IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll after win over then-No. 4 Salisbury. The Bullet were ninth in the first four polls this season before moving to sixth last week

JUST HOW SHE DREW IT UP: Lily Macatee corralled eight draw controls on Saturday to give her 290 for her career and establish a new program record. She entered the game needing three to tie Bridget Kenny's (2012-15) career mark of 285 and matched that number early in the third quarter before taking the record by herself with 6:41 remaining in the period.

LAST TIME OUT: Top-ranked Middlebury tallied 11 goals during the first half in an 18-1 triumph over Bates on Saturday. During the win, 12 different Panthers found the back of the net, including a hat trick from Hope Shue. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ON AN EPIC ROLL: Middlebury enters today's top-five matchup having won 56 straight games, dating back to a 9-8 loss to Tufts in the 2022 NESCAC championship game. The Panthers run started with a 22-6 win over SUNY Geneseo in the second round of the NCAA tournament that season and has continued through three straight NCAA title runs. Hope Shue continues to lead Middlebury on attack with 18 goals and seven assists in 2025. She enters today's game with 297 career points (238 goals, 59 assists).
