THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg swept doubles matches before splitting singles to end its Hilton Head trip with a 4-3 win over Gordon after dropping a 6-1 decision earlier in the day to NAIA nationally-ranked Midland, 6-1.
THE LEADERS

Mikey Fellman (Rockville, Md./Thomas S. Wootton) and
Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) led the Bullets in the win. The duo combined for 7-6 win at first doubles, winning the tiebreaker, 7-2. Fellman then captured No. 1 singles 6-1, 7-0 while Contract won 6-1, 6-4 at second singles.
FOR THE FOES
• Daniel Leibig capped a 2-0 day for the Warriors with a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles. He also teamed with Martin Cisneros for a 6-2 win at third doubles.
• Gabriel Guzman led the Scots with a straight-set win at fifth singles, 6-4, 6-4.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Midland won two of the third doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.
Adam Contract and
Matt Porreca (Blue Bell, Pa./La Salle College) won No. 2 doubles for Gettysburg, 6-2.
• In singles,
Malek Mustafa notched a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles for the Bullets.
• Against Gordon, Porreca and
Teo Burgess (Rockville, Md./Wheaton) won second doubles 6-0 while
Connor McPartland (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) and
Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) were 6-2 winners at third doubles.
• Mustafa added a second win at singles on the day, capturing No. 6 by a 6-2, 6-4 score.
