• Randolph-Macon swept doubles all by identical 6-4 scores to take a 1-0 lead in the match.

Gabby Mazzeo (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) made her debut at No. 1 singles and recorded a three-set victory. After Camilla Thurman recorded a 6-4 win in the first set, Mazzeo rebounded and took the second set 6-1 before taking the deciding set, 6-4.

Emma Ward won the first set at third singles 6-2 before needing a tiebreaker to take the second set, 7-6.

Claire Carroccio (Newtown Square, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) rounded out the Gettysburg winners, taking the match at No. 5 singles. She won the first set 6-4 before needing a tiebreaker to win, 7-6.
• Catherine Mowry teamed with Thurman for a 6-4 win at first doubles before taking the second singles match, 6-2, 6-1.
• Victoria Updike and Meckenzie Letellier won second doubles 6-4 and Updike capped her 2-0 day with a 6-2, 6-4 win at fourth singles.
