THE SKINNY STORY
Salisbury, ranked fourth in the latest IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored the first four goals of the game and never looked back, notching a 15-6 win over No. 6 Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) led the Bullets with three goals and an assist.
FOR THE FOES
• Miranda Mears led the Sea Gulls with five goals.
• Regan McDonnell added three goals, an assist, six draw controls, a ground ball and a caused turnover.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• It took nearly six minutes for either team to find the offense but a Julianna Ott goal with 8:13 to play in the opening quarter started a run of three Salisbury goals in less than two minutes. Miranda Mears took a quick pass from Leah Doy on a free-position attempt with 7:09 showing before Ott fired one home 50 seconds later. Grace Milliron extended the lead to 5-0 with 5:31 to play before
Julia Daly got Gettysburg on the board with 4:07 remaining. Milliron tallied her second to give the hosts a five-goal lead after one quarter.
• Daly netted her second just over four minutes into the second quarter before Mears and Milliron extended the lead to 7-2 with 6:01 on the clock. Daly then found a cutting
Riley Kenrick (Verona, N.J./Verona) before Regan McDonnell stretched the lead back to five at halftime.
• Two goals from Mears in the first 6:24 of the third quarter pushed the Sea Gulls lead to 10-3. Daly finished her hat trick, snapping a 14-minute, 23-second scoring drought with 2:39 to play. Audrey Harrington wrapped around the goal 51 seconds later to extend the lead back to eight.
• Mears and Harrington each found the back of the net 47 seconds apart to reach a 10-goal margin with 11:38 to play. McDonnell added a second on the day before
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) converted a free-position off a yellow card to make it 15-5 with 5:16 to play.
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) set the final margin at nine, scoring with 25 ticks remaining.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Salisbury finished with a 30-18 advantage in shots and 16-7 advantage in draw controls.

Lauren Bloch (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) picked up three ground balls and had two caused turnovers.
