- Gabby Mazzeo (Bethel, Conn., Bethel) led the Bullets with eight game wins on the day at first singles before falling 6-4, 6-4. Her and Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va., George Mason) combined for a close performance ultimately coming up short 6-4 at first doubles.
FOR THE FOES
- Katie Sechrist led Methodist being the only one to have a perfect match blanking the Bullets 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J., Summit) had five game wins across her two sets at third singles that resulted in a 6-1, 6-4 win for Caitlin Tihanovich of Methodist.
- Lindsay Paullin (Richmond, Va., St. Catherine's) and Claire Carroccio (Newtown Square, Pa., Villa Maria Academy) combined at third doubles for a 6-4 performance putting up a tough fight before falling to the Monarchs.
