GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Two members of the Gettysburg women's basketball team were named to the Division III Academic All-District women's basketball team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) recently.

Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Apr. 15.

The following Bullets women's basketball players were honored as part of the program:

• Sophomore Sarah Bertolette (Farmington, Conn./Farmington), a business, organizations and management/political science major
• Junior Reagan Chrencik (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury), a health sciences major

It is the first honor for both players.

To be nominated for the Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve. Up to four eligible student-athletes per institution can be selected to the all-district team.
