THE LEADERS
- JP Damare (Raleigh, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) and Connor McPartland (Furlong, Pa., Central Bucks East) combined to lead the Bullets with a tiebreaking 7-3 win at second doubles. McPartland also had six game wins on the day at first singles before dropping 6-3, 6-3.
FOR THE FOES
- Zac Ashtiani led the Diplomats winning at first singles. Ashtiani partnered with Luke Brodsky to earn the 6-1 win at first doubles as well.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Teo Burgess (Rockville, Md., Wheaton) had six game wins, four of them in his second set, however he fell 6-2, 6-4.
- Spencer Pompian (Clayton, Mo., Clayton) won his first set 7-6 before dropping set two 6-2 to force the tiebreaking third however he ultimately fell 10-6 No. 5 singles.
- Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J., West Morris Mendham) put up an effort forcing the tiebreaker in set one before falling 7-6, 6-4 at No. 6 singles.
