Gettysburg defeats Penn State-Harrisburg 4-3 winning two of three doubles and three of six singles matches.
THE LEADERS
- Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J., West Morris Mendham) led the Bullets with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles. He and Spencer Pompian (Clayton, Mo., Clayton) also took the 6-1 win at third doubles. Pompian also secured his singles match win; 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
FOR THE FOES
- Cooper Wheeler led the Lions with a 6-4, 6-3 win at first singles as well as partnering with Damir Cuturic for the first doubles win 7-6 after winning the 7-2 tiebreaker.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Connor McPartland (Furlong, Pa., Central Bucks East) and JP Damare (Raleigh, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) combined to win a 6-2 at second doubles.
- Ben O'Connor-Skloot (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Dobbs Ferry) snagged the 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles.
- Teo Burgess (Rockville, Md., Wheaton) forced his second singles match into a third set after winning set one 6-4 however the Lions ultimately took the win with a 6-3 third set.
