THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg falls to Washington College 6-1 after winning one doubles and singles match.
THE LEADERS
- Gabby Mazzeo led the Bullets being the sole singles winner at second singles. After dropping the first set 6-3 Mazzeo came back to win sets two and three to secure the 6-3, 6-1 win.
- Arina Zheliaskova and Mazzeo partnered to earn the Bullets other win on the day at first doubles. The two forced the match into a tiebreaker winning it 7-5 to take the match 7-6.
FOR THE FOES
- Juanita Arbelaez led the Shorewomen combining with Jess Wilde for the 6-3 second doubles win before winning at first singles 6-3, 6-1 after taking the third set.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Lindsay Paullin earned eight game wins on the day before dropping No.5 singles 6-4, 6-4.
- Claire Carroccio won her first set 6-2 before dropping the second 6-4 and just missed the third set win to ultimately fall 6-4, 7-5 at No. 6 singles.
