THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg fell to Bryn Mawr 5-2 after claiming one doubles win and two singles wins.
THE LEADERS
- Arina Zheliaskova and Gabby Mazzeo combined to take the 6-3 first doubles win while, Mazzeo added another singles win at second singles after dropping the first set 6-3 she won set two 6-3 to force the third set to ultimately win it 6-4.
- Claire Carroccio won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
FOR THE FOES
- Sophie Fenster led the Owls winning 6-1, 7-5 at first singles and partnered with Gioanna Zhao to win at second doubles 6-1.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Emma Ward won eight games between two sets at No. 4 singles before falling 6-4, 6-4.
- Eden Levkov had six game wins on the day at third singles and her and Meaghan Dougherty combined for four before falling 6-4 at third doubles.
- Zheliaskova also earned six wins on the day at first singles however Fenster took the 6-1, 7-5 win for the Owls.
