Gettysburg scored 27 points to finish second in the 4,000-meter race of the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational at Big Spring High School.
THE LEADERS

Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) led the Bullets with a third-place finish, clocking a time of 12:19.3. It was Gettysburg's best 4,000-meter time by 20 seconds on the Big Spring course.
FOR THE FOES
• Dickinson won the race title with 21 points.

Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn./Wooster School) crossed the line 11th with a time of 12:49.8.

Jack Taylor (Mohnton, Pa./Twin Valley) was 13th with a time of 12:53.2.

John Murphy IV (Grantham, N.H./Northfield Mount Hermon School) finished 20th with a time of 13:01.1.
•
Asher Leuzzi (Weston, Conn./Weston) placed 23rd with a time of 13:06.4.

Jack Rogers (Gaithersburg, Md./Our Lady Of Good Counsel) was 25th (13:08.6) while
Wylden Abraham (Roxbury, Conn./Shepaug Valley) was 27th (13:12.8).
