2009-10: Placed in the top three in 19 dual meet events, winning eight…Won the Centennial Conference silver medal in the 200 Backstroke and the 800 Freestyle Relay, and the bronze medal in the 400 Medley Relay…Also placed 10th in the 400 Freestyle Relay, 11th in the 200 Freestyle, and 12th in the 500 Freestyle…Had the team’s fastest time in the 200 Fly and 50 and 200 Backstroke, and the second fastest in the 500 Freestyle, 50 Fly and 100 Backstroke.

2008-09: Placed in the top three in 19 dual meet events, winning 15…Won the Centennial Conference gold medal in the 200 Backstroke, the silver medal in the 500 Freestyle, and the Bronze Medal in the 400 and 800 Freestyle Relay…Contributed to a school record in the 400 Medley Relay (3:33.23)…Had the team’s fastest time in the 500 Freestyle, 200 Fly, and 200 Back, and the second fastest time in the 200 Freestyle.

2007-08: Won the Centennial Conference gold medal in the 200 Backstroke, and the bronze medal in the 200 Butterfly and Freestyle, and the 800 Freestyle Relay…Also finished 4th in the 400 Freestyle and Medley Relays, and 5th in the 200 Medley Relay… Achieved an NCAA “B” cut in the 200 Backstroke…Had the best time on the team in the 200 Fly and Backstroke, and the second best time in the 100 Backstroke and 200 Freestyle.

High School: Participated in Swimming and water polo at Wilton High School…Earned all-Conference, all-District, all-County, and all-State recognition…Served as a team co-captain.

Personal: Born January 4, 1989…Son of Johanne and Ted Taft…Is a management major.
