• Competed in baseball at Delone Catholic HS 
• Named to All-Conference Team his junior and senior year 
• Tabbed Conference Outfielder of the Year his senior year 
• Served as team captain his senior year 
• Led team to the second District Championship in school history, and two State Championship wins, which were the most in school history 
• Member of National Honors Society, and National English, Math, and Social Studies Honors Societies 
• Graduated in the top 10% of his class 
• Two-time Regional Science Fair Grand Champion 

Personal 

• Son of Eric and Heather Hillson 
• Cousin, Harry Hillson, was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1983 and played a year before sustaining a career-ending injury
