Biography

Three-year starter at third base who hits from the left side…Sound defensively and can drive the ball into the gap…Named a “Player to Watch” by Collegiate Baseball.

2013: Named All-Centennial Conference for the second year in a row, earning honorable mention…Led the Bullets while finishing third in the conference and third in school history with 42 RBIs…Finished fourth on the team in batting (.348)…Tied for the team lead with three triples and was fourth in doubles (nine)…Clouted a game-tying two-run homer in the top of the ninth versus Johns Hopkins in the loser’s bracket final of the Centennial Conference tournament…Also delivered a walk-off single in the 10th inning of a 4-3 victory over Washington College…Put together a 15-game hitting streak midway through the season…Drove in five runs in a win over Lancaster Bible…Had five different three-hit games.

2012: Played in and started all 38 games at third base…Named honorable mention All-Centennial Conference…Finished as the team’s fifth-leading hitter at .366…Led the Bullets in doubles (nine) and was third with 53 hits, which ranked ninth in school history… Was also fourth among the Bullets in RBIs (25) and fifth in runs (27)…Went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in a win over Penn State-Berks and was 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two runs in a victory over Penn State-Mont Alto…Was also 4-for-6 with three RBIs in a win over Mitchell…Scored four runs in a victory at Susquehanna.

2011: Started 29 games, mostly at the hot corner...Finished second on the team with a .327 batting average...Scored 10 runs and drove in a dozen...Logged 10 multi-hit efforts, including a 3-for-4 performance against Richard Stockton...Posted a pair of doubles, drew three walks, scored two runs, and drove in three in a victory over Dickinson...Ended the year with hits in final six games...Slammed a three-run triple against Swarthmore.

High School: Competed in soccer and baseball at Abington Friends School for head coaches Brian Cassady and Jeff Bond…In baseball, hit over .300 four straight seasons and competed at pitcher, shortstop, and third baseman..Was a three-time All-Friends League selection…Also a two-time Carpenter Cup/Inter-AC team pick….Also captured Second Team All-Greater Norristown American Legion honors as a third baseman…In soccer, was a two-time All-Friends League selection.

Family Connection: Brother, Joshua, played for the St. Joseph’s University soccer team.
