Gettysburg College Athletics

One of the Bullets top returning distance runners…Versatile performer who specializes in the middle distances…Holds the outdoor school record in the mile (5:22.31) and ranks eighth in school history in the same event indoors (5:38.83)…Also competes for the cross country team.

2013 Indoor: Competed in both the 4x800-meter relay and the distance medley relay at the Centennial Conference Championships…Took fifth in the mile at the Susquehanna Invitational…Placed seventh in the 3,000-meter run at the Lehigh Invitational…Finished with the team’s top times for the season in the mile (5:34.05) and the 3,000 (10:58.20) and the second-best mark in the 800 (2:31.92). 2013 Outdoor: At the Centennial Conference Championships, placed 26th in the 1,500 while also competing in the 4x400 and the 4x800-meter relays…Took second in the 1,500 and sixth in the 800 at the Messiah Invitational…Was second in the mile at the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational…Placed sixth in the mile at the Millersville Metrics… Finished with the team’s top times for the season in the 1,500 (4:56.36) and second-best marks in the 800 (2:25.95) and 400 (1:06.38).

High School: Competed in cross country and track & field at West Islip H.S. under head coaches Michelle Studley (XC), Chris Kaigh (indoor track), and Nick Grieco (outdoor track)…Earned all-county, all-league, and all-division honors as well as academic all-county recognition…Helped set four school records in the relays (indoor 4x800, indoor 4x1600, outdoor 4x800, and outdoor 4x1600)…Captured the Section XI Gold Key Award as well as the Girl Scouts’ Bronze Award and Silver Award…An Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete and a member of both the National Honor Society and the Foreign Language Honor Society.
