Gettysburg College Athletics

Notes: Serving as a team captain for the Bullets in the 2018 season.....Named NCAA Division III "Players to Watch for 2018" by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper……  Brother, Jesse, is a 2015 Gettysburg College graduate…Studied abroad in Florence, Italy in the Fall of 2016.
 
2017: Started eight games, going 5-2 with a 2.55 ERA over 53 innings with 51 strikeouts and just 10 walks….Tossed a complete game in a victory over Muhlenberg allowing just two runs on six hits while striking out 10…..Gave up zero runs while throwing a season high 10 strikeouts over seven innings in a win over Westminster…..Earned a win over Ursinus going 7 2/3 innings with 6 strikeouts and just three earned runs.

2016: Started 10 games, going 6-3 with a 3.97 ERA…Recorded 62 strikeouts and just 14 walks over 68 innings…Fired seven innings while striking out 10 and allowing just two runs in a win over Hiram…Recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts with just two walks and three earned runs over seven innings of work in a win against Penn State Altoona...Finished with 10 strikeouts, no walks, and just two earned runs in a darkness-shortened tie against Johns Hopkins.
 
2015: Enjoyed a strong debut season with the Bullets, going 2-2 with a 2.96 ERA over eight starts…Struck out 32 and walked just nine over 45 2/3 innings...Fired a three-hit, seven-inning shutout over Rockford in his collegiate debut, striking out eight…Also earned the victory with seven shutout innings against Stevenson…Struck out a season-high 10 over 9 2/3 innings versus Wisconsin Lutheran…Also fanned seven over 7 2/3 innings of a no-decision versus Washington College.
 
High School: Earned all-county and all-area recognition as a pitcher while serving as a team captain at Westfield H.S. under head coach Bob Brewster.
