Biography

Opening Drive: One of the top returning players in the Centennial Conference…Holds school records for season scoring average (79.6), low round (72), and low 36-hole score (157)…Brother, Reid Sessa ’10, played on Gettysburg’s men’s golf team from 2006-10…Dad, Jay, played golf at Miami, while sisters, Dana and Courtney, played golf at Pace University and Muhlenberg College.
 
2016-17: Earned All-Centennial Conference First Team for the third consecutive season…Two-time Centennial Conference Player of the Week…Recorded three first-place finishes during the regular season…Led the team with a scoring average of 80.6… Finished runner up at the Centennial Conference Championship scoring 160 (81-79) over two days… Carded a two-round 165 (79-86) finishing first at the McDaniel Spring Invitational…Scored a 77 to win the Gettysburg Spring Invitational… Posted her lowest score of the season 76 to place first in the  Susquehanna Spring Invitational.  
 
2015-16: Appeared in four fall and five spring events…Finished the season with a scoring average of 80.4…Recorded four first-place finishes during the regular season…Fired off a two-round 158 (82-76) at the McDaniel Spring Invitational…Notched a 79 at the Dickinson Fall Invitational…Shot another 79 at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational…Earned All-CC First Team status after finishing at the Centennial Conference Championship with a 166 (85-81)…Ended the season with a three-round 239 (80-78-81) to tie for 41st at the NCAA Championships.
 
2014-15: Named Centennial Conference Player and Rookie of the Year…Won the conference title with a school-record low 157 (80-77) at the CC Championship…Shattered the school record and tied the conference mark with a 72 in a dual with McDaniel…Won six events during the year, including collegiate debut at the Dickinson Fall Invitational where she shot a then program-record 74…Posted a 79 to win the Dickinson Spring Invitational…Tied for 18th at the NCAA Division III Championship with a four-day total of 321 (82-84-80-75)…Finished with the second-best final round score among the 110 players in the national field.
 
High School: Competed in golf, basketball, and field hockey at Garden City High School…Named all-state, all-county, and all-conference in golf…Finished top five at the state tournament in each of her final four seasons, including a runner-up showing in 2013…Set Garden City records for wins (51) in addition to posting the lowest scores in dual matches, county events, and state events…Three-time Women’s Club Champion at Gardiners Bay Country Club and four-time winner of Cherry Valley Club Junior Championship.
