About Us

The Gettysburg College Men's Rugby team was re-founded in 2004. Since then we have been a competitive athletics team that plays within the region against other colleges. We currently contest in the National Collegiate Rugby Small College Division I.

The precious ongoing tradition in Gettysburg Men’s Rugby is the Jacket society. Those who excel in match performance receive the coveted jacket and are inducted into the Jacket Society. This special award is one you can only receive once, and it always holds a special place in the hearts of our players.
