About Us

Gettysburg College Women's Rugby Team is a competitive member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union.  We are a club sport on campus that began in 1997. Our mission is to teach girls a new sport in competitive rugby, foster a community of acceptance, respect, and sisterhood, while teaching our girls leadership skills and values that they can apply outside of the game.
 
There is no experience necessary to join.  The club aims to provide an athletic team for women who are interested in playing rugby.  Not only do we participate in two competitive seasons throughout the year, we also promote a social and friendly team atmosphere.
