Mission Statement of Gettysburg Student Athlete Advisory Committee: SAAC serves as the voice of Gettysburg student-athletes, connecting the student-athlete community, Athletics Administration, and the NCAA Division III National SAAC. As part of the NCAA governance structure, we represent and elevate student-athlete perspectives on rules, policies, and issues that shape the Division III experience. We strive to enhance life on and off the field, strengthen our student-athlete community, and create a safe, welcoming space for athletes to share concerns, advocate for change, and make their voices heard.

Membership Responsibilities: SAAC members should be respected student-athletes in good standing with Gettysburg College and their teams. Each member is expected to serve as the liaison between the committee and his or her team with the goal of representing all student-athletes at Gettysburg College. Members should demonstrate leadership, excitement, and a commitment to enhancing the Gettysburg student-athlete experience.
