Gettysburg College's Student Athlete Advisory Committee's mission is to uphold the mission of the Department while concurrently providing a source of representation for Gettysburg College's student athletes. Additionally, the group coordinates with the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division Three National SAAC.

SAAC is a voice for Gettysburg athletes, acting as a liaison to the athletics administration, the NCAA, and Gettysburg administration. We help to provide insight on the student athlete experience by giving input on rules, regulations, and policies of Gettysburg Athletics and of the NCAA. Our goal as SAAC is to help better the lives of student athletes. Not only are we here to listen to our athletes, but we are also here to act on those needs and suggestions to make everyone's experience the fullest and best it can be.
