Gettysburg College Athletics

Manning was promoted to head athletic trainer at the start of the 2022-23 season after spending the last 13 as an assistant athletic trainer at Gettysburg College. She serves as the primary athletic trainer for the Bullets’ football, field hockey, and baseball programs.
 
Manning came to Gettysburg after receiving her degree in athletic training from Messiah College in 2009. She worked with all of the Falcons’ 22 intercollegiate varsity athletic teams, including men’s basketball and softball. While earning her degree at Messiah, Manning interned at both Gettysburg College and the Hanover Hospital’s Cherry Tree Rehabilitation Center. She has also worked a variety of summer athletic camps at both Gettysburg and nearby Mount St. Mary’s University.

She is just the fifth individual to serve as head athletic trainer at Gettysburg since 1927. She is the first female to hold the position.
 
Manning, a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, completed her Master of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2011.
