Reever joined the baseball staff for the 2024 season as the team's dedicated strength and conditioning coach.
A native of nearby Biglerville, Reever’s mother is a Gettysburg alumna.
Reever will work exclusively with the baseball team. A knowledgeable baseball mind, he played two years of baseball at Lebanon Valley before spending the last two years on the men’s track and field team. He was a team captain his senior year and still holds the No. 7 performance in LVC history for the indoor heptathlon.
He graduated magna cum laude in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in clinical exercise science and was granted the distinguished student award by the exercise science department. During his undergraduate days, he was a strength and conditioning intern before being tabbed as the department’s interim head strength and conditioning coach from 2019-21.
During his time with the Flying Dutchmen, he coordinated the training programs and return-to-play protocols that accommodated individual needs during a time of COVID-19 restrictions. He was also part of the baseball coaching staff that made it to the MAC Commonwealth championships series in 2021.
He has been a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2019. He has been a personal trainer, as well as a private health and fitness consultant, since 2022.
Reever focuses on injury prevention and performance preparation. He believes that for athletes to achieve the highest levels of success, coaches must consider a biopsychosocial perspective that focuses on the entire person, not just the athlete.
