Charlie Skalaski

Charlie Skalaski begins his first season as an assistant coach at Gettysburg. Skalaski will oversee the Bullets' wide receivers and wing backs this fall.

Skalaski comes to Gettysburg after serving as an assistant at his alma mater, Liberty University. He worked under the direction 2014 AFCA FCS Assistant Coach of the Year and Defensive Coordinator Robert Wimberly at Liberty. Prior to joining the staff as an assistant coach, Skalaski worked with both offense and special teams as a student assistant.

Skalaski also served on the coaching staff at Liberty Christian Academy where he was the junior varsity offensive coordinator/varsity assistant receivers coach in 2009-10 before moving up to varsity wide receivers coach/assistant offensive coordinator in 2010-11. He helped Liberty Christian Academy claim the 2011 VISAA-Division 1 State championship.

Skalaski, who received his degree in sport management from Liberty in 2013, was a three-year letterwinner in football at Liberty Christian Academy. He helped his high school claim two state titles and compile a record of 36-1.
