Jim Stull enters his first season as a defensive line coach at Gettysburg. He will work specifically with the defensive ends this fall.

Stull begins his collegiate coaching career after spending the last four years among the high school ranks. From 2002 to 2006, he served in a variety of capacities at North Carroll High School, ranging from coaching the defensive line to serving as an assistant offensive and defensive coordinator. Stull also spent the last two summers as an assistant coordinator and coach at St. Paul’s School for the team football camp and the Chip Smith speed camp.

Prior to coaching, Stull put together an impressive playing career on the gridiron, competing on both the amateur and professional levels. A 2000 graduate of the University of Delaware, he was named first-team All-Conference Atlantic-10, first-team All-Region ECAC, and third-team All-America as a senior. After graduating with a degree in science in health and physical education, Stull continued his playing career on a professional level from 2000 to 2002, competing with the Carolina Panthers and the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League, the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, and the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe, among others.

Stull is currently at work on a master’s in exercise science from McDaniel College.
