Mike Miller enters his fourth season as an assistant football coach at Gettysburg College in 2019. Miller will coach the offensive line and tight ends this fall.

Miller returned to the collegiate level following several years coaching in the local high school ranks. He most recently was an assistant coach at Boiling Springs High School where he coached the offensive line, defensive line, and outside linebackers. He also oversaw both lines at Carlisle High School in 2012. Miller began his coaching career as an assistant at Northern York High School in 1993 and he was the head coach of the club team East Petersburg Bulldogs from 1995-97.

From 1999 to 2011, Miller was an assistant coach at Dickinson College. He spent most of that time as the offensive line and long snappers coach. In 2006, Miller helped the Red Devils claim their first Centennial Conference championship in 12 years.

Miller was an all-conference center at Shippensburg University in the late 70s. After graduating with a degree in communications and journalism, he worked as an editor and sports writer at The Ephrata Review. He spent 17 years as a manager and public relations writer with Highmark Blue Shield. Miller began teaching in 2005 and currently teaches seventh and eighth grade English at Yellow Breeches Middle School.
