Nick Interdonato returns to the Bullet coaching staff for his second season in 2008 and will serve as a defensive line coach.
Prior to arriving at Gettysburg, Interdonato held the post of linebackers and tight ends coach at Waynesboro (Pa.) H.S. from 2003-06. Interdonato also gained extensive collegiate coaching experience as a defensive assistant at Shippensburg University from 1996-2002 and at his alma mater, Susquehanna University, from 1981-83. At Susquehanna, where he coached linebackers and defensive ends, he helped the Crusaders win a Middle Atlantic Conference championship while posting an undefeated season in 1983.
A native of Frackville, Pa., Interdonato was a standout on the gridiron at Susquehanna, where he was a four-year letterman and a three-year starter at defensive end. As a senior, he was the school’s Defensive Lineman of the Year. Following graduation in 1979, he taught social studies at Lewisburg H.S. while coaching football, basketball, and baseball at the same school.
Interdonato owns and operates a software development company based in Maryland. He and his wife, Lee Ann, and daughters Nicole and Jessica, reside in Gettysburg.
