Dylan Hoff enters his fourth season as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Gettysburg College in 2021. Hoff serves as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Hoff has helped the Bullets record a mark of 39-9 in his first three campaigns. In 2018, Gettysburg posted the second-best win total in program history with a record of 19-3. The Bullets marched all the way to the national semifinals, knocking off six nationally-ranked teams along the way. Included in the run was a dramatic 11-10 double-overtime win over then-No. 1 Salisbury University. Nine players were named All-Centennial Conference and seven earned All-America recognition.
In 2019, Gettysburg led the conference in assists while posting a 14-5 overall record and advancing to the NCAA playoffs. In his three seasons on staff, Hoff has coached 19 All-America selections, seven IMLCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region honorees, and 18 All-Centennial Conference picks.
Hoff spent three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Lynchburg College under former Bullet Steve Koudelka ’93 prior to arriving in Gettysburg.
As a coach at Lynchburg, Hoff helped lead the Hornets to a 48-19 record, three-straight NCAA Division III tournament berths, a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) titles, and an appearance in the 2015 NCAA Division III championship game. He guided a prolific offense that produced 12 All-ODAC selections and five All-Americans, including Austin Stewart, who set an NCAA record with 109 goals in 2015. Lynchburg averaged over 14 goals per game in 2015, and the Hornets converted 46 percent of their man-up opportunities in 2016.
Prior to his coaching tenure at Lynchburg, Hoff worked as an assistant coach at EC Glass (Va.) High School for two years, also as the offensive coordinator.
As a student-athlete, Hoff made his mark as a standout attackman, piling up a school-record 251 points at Lynchburg. The Chester Springs, Pa. native was a two-time All-American, capturing second-team status in 2012 and honorable mention in 2011. Hoff was also a three-time All-ODAC selection, garnering first-team honors in both 2011 and 2012.
Hoff graduated from Lynchburg with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education (2012) and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (2017).
