Kevin Stockel enters his second season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Gettysburg College in 2015-16.
Stockel comes to Gettysburg from his alma mater, Drexel University, where he served as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, helping the Dragons to a combined record of 24-9. He helped lead Drexel to the 2014 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title and a berth in the NCAA Division I quarterfinals.
As a student-athlete at Drexel, Stockel competed as a midfielder and attackman and was a two-time team captain. He was named to the 2010 CAA All-Tournament Team and finished his career with 74 points. He graduated from Drexel in 2012 with a degree in sports management.
Stockel also serves as an assistant in the athletic communications office.
