Kevin Thomas enters his seventh season as an assistant coach with the Bullets women’s basketball program. In his first six seasons on the staff, Thomas has helped Gettysburg post an overall record of 117-26 and make five straight appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge to the Bullets staff as he has 33 years of coaching experience. Over the last three decades, Thomas served as the assistant boys' varsity/JV basketball coach at Big Spring School District, Cumberland Valley, and Gettysburg High School. He also served as the head boys' basketball coach at Cumberland Valley and girl’s head basketball coach at Gettysburg High School. 

For 34 years, Thomas worked in the local school districts as a health & physical education teacher at Cumberland Valley and Gettysburg High School. Throughout the course of his professional work experience, he was also the Interim Athletic Director at Gettysburg School District, Assistant Principal at New Oxford High School, and Principal at New Oxford High School.

Thomas graduated from Messiah Academy in 1981 with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education, while he attained his master’s degree at Western Maryland College, now known as McDaniel College, in educational administration and curriculum.

Thomas and his wife, Jaymie, have two children, Trey and Brianna, and currently reside in Gettysburg, Pa.
