Prior to his coaching career, Ehresman was a two-sport student-athlete at Bluffton University. He was a two-time letterman as a running back on the football team and competed in the sprints on the track and field team. He earned a degree in sports management from Bluffton in 2016 and attained his MBA from Tiffin in 2018.
