AT GETTYSBURG
Rodionov begins his tenure as Gettysburg's head men's and women's tennis coach for the 2026-27 season after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Berry College.
PRIOR TO GETTYSBURG
Rodionov joined the Berry staff as assistant coach in January 2024. While on staff, he helped the men’s team achieved rose to 30th in the national rankings during the spring of 2025 and finished the season ranked in the top 75 of the final rankings. The women’s team reached the conference championship match in back-to-back seasons.
In each of his three years on staff, the Vikings had multiple players on both the men’s and women’s teams selected All-Southern Athletic Association.
Prior to his arrival at Berry, he worked at the Genesis Health Clubs of Manhattan and Topeka. He served as the Head Tennis Professional at Topeka where he worked with several nationally ranked players, high school state champions and future college players. He has experience in directing tournaments and leading a team of pros.
His coaching experience dates back to coaching community tennis for South Brunswick Township upon receiving his PTR Professional teaching certificate at age 16. He has also coached for the USA Sport Group and at New Brunswick High School as the boys’ and girls’ varsity assistant, where he helped design and execute individualized lesson plans for players of all ability levels.
Rodionov earned his bachelor of science in biochemistry from Tufts in 2014. He recently completed his MBA at Berry.
