Lane joins the Bullets coaching staff for the 2026 season.
He graduated this past spring from Springfield College, where he was a three-time captain for the Pride. He was named 2025 NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Year and was a two-time honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). As a senior, Lane picked up 51 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers. His career stretched six seasons, starting 64 of 70 games. He recorded 247 ground balls and caused 61 turnovers while adding 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points in his career. He was also a USILA All-American in 2023 and added US Lacrosse Magazine All-America accolades in 2025.
Lane also garnered first-team all-conference honors in 2022 and 2025 and was a second-team selection in 2024. He was a first-team IMLCA all-region selection in 2025 and USILA Scholar All-American in 2024. He also earned Springfield's Male Team Athlete Award in 2025.
He was a operations and equipment manager for the Carolina Chaos of the Premier Lacrosse League in 2025. He also served as an assistant coach for the Seven Hills Club Lacrosse team from 2022-25.
Lane earned his bachelor of science in physical education from Springfield in 2023 and his masters of education in athletic leadership in 2025.
