Ryan McGoff has joined the Gettysburg men’s basketball staff as a full-time assistant coach for the 2025-26 season.

McGoff joins the Bullets staff after spending the last two seasons as the lead assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Mount Saint Mary College.

While on Ryan Kadlubowski’s staff, McGoff assisted with all aspects of the program, including season planning, on-court coaching, game and practice preparation and off-season goal-setting. On the bench, he coordinated in-game substitutions and guard play. He also helped with film breakdown and preparing scouting reports. He also led the Knights’ recruiting efforts, managing the database, off-campus and film evaluation as well as setting up and coordinating on-campus visits.

Prior to Mount Saint Mary, McGoff served as an assistant coach at Misericordia from 2017-23. During his time there, the Cougars made the MAC Freedom tournament three times, winning the conference title in 2018. He recruited several all-conference players, including Kevin Lazdowsky, who went on to be a two-time MAC Freedom Player of the Year and two-time first-team all-region selection.

A Scranton, Pa. native, his coaching career began as an undergraduate at King’s when his playing career was cut short due to injury. He has also served as the head coach of JBHOOPS/NEPA Elite AAU basketball program since 2015. Over the years, he mentored young athletes, helping them maximize their performance on and off the court.

He earned his bachelor of arts in history from King’s in 2016 before earning his MBA in sports management from Misericordia in 2022.
