Junior Hannah Church once again put up big numbers in leading the women's lacrosse team to its first national title over the weekend. Church posted four goals in a 13-11 victory over SUNY Cortland in the semifinals before exploding for five goals and three assists in a 16-5 victory over Bowdoin College in the national championship. The junior attacker shattered the NCAA Tournament records for goals and points, posting 26 and 29, respectively, while finishing the season with 86 goals and 99 points - the third- and fifth-best totals in school history, respectively. Church was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player for her performance.
