Sophomore Alyssa Isler helped the women's basketball team end the semester with a victory by nailing the game-winning three-pointer in a 55-52 win at Swarthmore College on Dec. 9. Making her first collegiate start, Isler poured in nine of her career-high 14 points in the second half to help Gettysburg erase a double-figure deficit. The Bullet sophomore, who posted a team-high 11 points in a close loss to Franklin & Marshall College on Dec. 7, averaged 12.5 points per game and shot 71.4 percent (8-of-14), including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, for the week.
