Sophomore Maggie Maguire's return to the lineup was impeccable as she led the Bullets to a sweep of Ursinus on April 7. In the opener, Maguire, who missed the previous three games due to injury, blasted a two-run double in the sixth to give Gettysburg the lead and then drew a bases-loaded walk to plate the game-wining run in the bottom of the ninth for a 7-6 victory. The third baseman did more talking with her bat in the nightcap, connecting on her first home run of the season in the third to put the Bullets in front 4-3. After the Bears tied the game, Maguire smacked a two-out, two-run home run to right field in the eighth to give Gettysburg an 8-6 win. Maguire finished with four hits, four runs scored, three walks, and six RBI in the twinbill.
