Gettysburg College Athletics

Running in extremely windy conditions, Laudenschlager broke the outdoor school record in the mile in 5:22.31 at Gettysburg's Mason-Dixon Invitational on Saturday. She placed second among 37 competitors and was the top collegiate finisher, placing behind only an unattached runner. Laudenschlager came in five seconds in front of her nearest collegiate competitor in the mile, and she also ran on the team's 4x400 relay that placed second among eight schools.
