Young earned first team All-Centennial Conference honors with his fifth-place finish at the CC Championships, held at Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg. He posted a 54-hole score of 231, shooting a 79 on Friday, a 75 on Saturday, and a 77 on Sunday. Young, a freshman, placed just two strokes behind Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year Alex Kane of McDaniel.
