Freshman Lea Candelmo swam off with the conference's Rookie of the Year award after an impressive debut season. Candelmo won 10 individual races during the course of the regular season, including the 500 freestyle three times. But she saved her best performances for the Centennial Conference Championships, winning both the 500 free and the 400 IM. Candelmo also finished third in the 1650 freestyle and swam the lead leg of the 400 freestyle relay which won the consolation final and helped lift the Bullets to their third consecutive conference team title.
