Gettysburg College Athletics

David Kaiser leaped into the record books in his first year at Gettysburg. After a successful indoor track and field season that saw him break the school record in the long jump at 21 feet, 10 1/4 inches, Kaiser resumed his aerial assault during the outdoor campaign. He was named Centennial Conference Most Outstanding Rookie after winning the long jump (22-7) and placing seventh in the triple jump (42-7). An All-CC First Team selection, Kaiser's outdoor long jump mark was the third-best in school history.
