Young turned in a pair of top-six finishes to help the Bullets to a tournament title and a runner-up showing. At the Elizabethtown Invitational, he placed fourth out of 70 golfers while tying his career-low with a 74 as the Bullets won with a 303 - its best team score in six years. Young followed up with a 149 to tie for sixth out of 74 competitors at the McDaniel Mason-Dixon Classic, carding a career-best with a 73 on the first day before finishing with a 76. His efforts helped Gettysburg place second out of 15 teams, as the Bullets shot 309 before posting another 303.
