The Centennial Conference Player of the Week, Powers averaged 22.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 51.6 percent from the floor and was named to the all-tournament team at the York (Pa.) College Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. He scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 69-59 first-round win over Medgar Evers College, then notched 18 points in an 86-61 loss to York in the championship game.
